Az elmúlt öt hét / The last five weeks

Amíg gyógyultam, a karácsonyra kapott konyhai sarokpolc után apu egy új tálalószekrénnyel lepett meg mert nem volt elég hely a sok konyhaszekrényben : ) és végre van hová tennem a sok szép étkészletem és edényeim : ))

Na meg óriási orgona bokrétákat és anyutól finom főtt ételeket is hozott  : )

Ezek után persze, hogy nagyon gyorsan meggyógyultam : ))

Az igazság viszont az, hogy három hétre a műtétem után elkaptam egy fránya vírust ami újabb két hétre kiütött, de egy hosszú pihenős hétvége után, aminek a koronája egy szuper hímzős barátnős nap volt, most már tényleg állítom, hogy jobban vagyok   :))

És főleg, hogy Imi is végre 3 nap múlva újra otthon lesz !!!!

While healing and after the kitchen corner shelf we got as Christmas present, my dad surprised me with the finished sideboard he made to have enough space for my dinner sets and cookware sets  : ) 

because I have a huge kitchen and still not enough space for everything : ))

And he brought me huge lilac bouquets and delicious cooked meals from mum so that I get well soon.  And of course I did  : )) But the truth is, that after three weeks I got a very bad cold which knocked me out for another two weeks which finally, after a long rest up weekend crowned with a gorgeous stitching day with my girlfriends, I can say that I am finally getting better  :))

Especially that my hubby will be finally home in three days too!!!!

 

Spring String

Marika mutatta ezt a cuki mintát, hogy meg akarja hímezni és nem tudtam ellenállni neki, muszály volt azonnal meghímezni    : )

Marika showed this sweet pattern as the one on her to do list and I could not resist, I had to stitch it too and right away   : )

A Bird in Hand

Martitól is kaptam még március elején egy újabb csomagot 3 primitive mintával és csodaszép 35 countos kézzel festett WDW anyaggal meg egy darabka krém anyaggal és fonalakkal. Ma befejeztem az utolsó minta hímzését is és most már ez is útra kész.

I received a new package with 3 cross stitch patterns and a gorgeous piece of 35 count WDW hand dyed linen, a piece of 32 count cream linen and threads at the beginning of March from Marti as well. I just finished stitching the last piece today and so these are now ready to go back to her too.

Sweet Violet

Ma reggel ibolyákat szabtam és varrtam erre a nagyon szép tavaszi hímzésre, hogy megkapja végső formáját és méltó keretbe kerüljön. Már a párizsi út előtt összegyűjtöttem a fonalakat hozzá és elkezdtem hímezni meg vittem magammal, aztán Amerikába is velem utazott (vissza, mert hát ugye onnan jött) és egy-kétszer még az orvosi rendelőbe is segített a várakozási  időt eltölteni  : )

I cut and sewed tiny violets today morning to finish this lovely spring pattern I was stitching since a while. I gathered all its necessary threads and started it just before my trip to Paris - it traveled with me there, then it traveled with me to US as well - there where it came from, and also came with me once or twice to the doctor as well and helped pass the waiting time  : )
